México: A Pictorial Testimony

It’s been a long time coming since I could get out the country again, in any official capacity.  For what I consider my life’s work, it meant a lot for me to be able to do so.  But it certainly took waiting, and patience, and obedience, discipline and persistence.  What do I mean?  Well, put shortly, it meant I had to suck up my wanderlust, carry out the abhorred mundanity of corporate life, and wait on the Lord to provide an opportunity to do what I desire, within His will.

It was not easy.  But it was worth it.

Just Shy of Mexico

Oh. My. Gosh.

First off, I’d be remiss if I did not take pause and acknowledge that I have been praying and crying, pleading and fasting for this moment for years. Ever since studying abroad in the U.K. in 2011, I’ve been dying to get out of the country again and to do international work.

Introducing JIWIASP – Is This Even a Good Idea?

Welp, what I know is that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind.  Whatever He intends to become of this new blog surely will be!  Especially since this is around my 3rd or 4th attempt at blogging.  Yet, for some reason I feel like this time will stick.

“Jesus is why I am so pretty” means that there is more to me and you than meets the eye. It means that we should use every opportunity aimed at exalting ourselves to instead exalt Jesus Christ.  And it also means that anything good or joyful or radiant you see coming from me, is absolutely and most certainly because of Him.
